Polypack systems bundle round, square and sqround ice cream containers into compact, consistent and retail-ready multipacks.

 

Ice cream cups, pints and tubs are often tapered, with lids that are wider than their bases. When every container remains upright, the widest portions sit beside one another. This creates extra space within the pack and makes stable bundle formation more difficult.

 

An automatic ice cream container inverter rotates every other cup, pint or tub 180 degrees. This places the wider lid of one container beside the narrower base of the next, creating a tighter alternating pattern.

Once oriented, the containers are collated into the required pack configuration, wrapped in shrink film and conveyed through the heat tunnel. Finished multipacks then transfer smoothly to the discharge conveyor for continuous end-of-line operation.
