​Polypack’s heavy-bag bundling system uses a motorized pusher assembly for smooth product transfer to the shrink tunnel and can wrap individual items or collate them into multipacks, depending on production needs. Product flow is controlled with precision using an infeed oscillator to divide single-file product streams into lanes, while decompression plates and gates manage back pressure for consistent movement.

 

Bundles are formed with clamp and gate mechanisms, advanced through the machine by a transfer flybar, then wrapped using dancer bar-controlled film feeds. A thermostatically controlled seal bar produces reliable seals before bundles enter the shrink tunnel, where heat and airflow are adjusted with replaceable heater banks and adjustable baffles for uniform shrinking around large, flexible packages. For added flexibility, the system can be equipped with optional modules for product stabilization, reorientation, stacking, and integrated pad dispensing.

 

With no change parts and tool-less adjustments, it’s easy to operate and adapt for packaging charcoal, pet food, cat litter, and soil bags into bundles for handling, palletizing, and distribution.
